With Ray Thomas as your wedding reception entertainment host, your day is planned from start to finish so you can relax, worry-free and enjoy the festivities with your family and friends!

Ray will be happy to sit down with you and plan all the day’s formalities and special events including introductions, a toast, the cake cutting, newlywed’s first dance, wedding party dance, father-daughter dance, dollar dance and any other event requests.  These can include recognizing birthdays, engagements, or honoring an anniversary couple with a special dedication.

To cater to the wide range of ages at a wedding reception, Ray brings a library of music that spans six decades, from the 1940’s to today’s “Top 40!”  Most importantly, Ray is always happy to play your guests’ requests and ‘customize’ the program to suit the dance music tastes of your friends and families.

Banquets, Parties and Class Reunions

You invite the guests…. then relax.  Ray has the years of experience necessary to serve up the perfect mix of music for any occasion.

If speeches are part of the evening, Ray offers the use of his professional sound system including a wireless microphone for all the presentations.  He plays a program of soft music for the social and dinner hours, and happily works with your committee to help with any awards or prize drawings.

At a class reunion, Ray brings a big choice of music from the class years as well as other dance favorites and is, as he is at any party, happy to play requests.   Be sure to mention any class “theme songs” to Ray in advance, and he’ll bring them to the event.  Count on Ray to assist the photographer in organizing the class picture and the caterer with dinner announcements, too.

  • Is your DJ a full time, professional disc jockey with their OWN RADIO SHOW?  Or do they just spin records on the side?

  •  Does your DJ have the years of experience necessary to handle a wide variety of different party situations, such as divorced or re-married parents at a wedding reception with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism?

  • Is the DJ you’re hiring the DJ who will meet with you and perform the entire show from start to finish?  Or might the “DJ Company” send some new ‘trainee’ with limited experience to your important event?

  • Does your DJ dress appropriately for the occasion, meaning a tuxedo at all wedding receptions and a jacket and tie at banquets and parties, unless told otherwise?

  • Does your DJ carry a wide choice of musical selections to please a variety of guests?  Is everything from Big Bands to 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, “Oldies”, Classic Rock, and Dance Music to Country and today’s “Top 40″ all a part of his music library?

  • Is your DJ courteous, a gentleman at all times, who treats your guests to the same kind of hospitality you treat them to?
